The Kings Arms was established more than 200 years ago as an old coaching inn and has remained at the heart of the beautiful country village of Barr for many years. The hotel is a small family run business and is perfectly situated for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors, as the Galloway forest park is just a short cycle away.

Conveniently located 15 minutes drive from the coast and with the river Stinchar 5 minutes walk away, its a must for Sea and River Anglers alike. We also have a number of local lochs within walking distance in which wild trout are in abundance.
